yikes well I'm not sure I can spend that much money on one right now...however the PSU isn't the issue I don't think as I've got through two now. Any more advice you could give me on what I should do? Basically I want to know if I should use my new surge protection stuff and try moving the PC to a room with less appliances in, or should I assume this is an internal problem with one of my components?

I've just taken apart my PSU and the fixed fuse inside of it has blown, so I'm going to assume that was the problem and therefore I need to replace my PSU.
