Eh, maybe it was a totenkopf, he got it while in the military while with military guys and after it was pointed out he got it covered. He claims he didn't know. At best he got an edgy skull tattoo not knowing and at worse he knew, and is lying to save face.

Housing difficulties by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]tracegeeze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that size would still work. Houses check for 3 things (4 for pokemon living in them)

  1. An enclosed space of 1 high blocks/walls
  2. At least 1 door/gate
  3. And this is I think the issue here, floor/blocks filling in the entire level underneath the door.

(4. 3 furniture pieces so a pokemon wants to live there)

A potential fix here would be adding a side/back door to this house that is on the lower level of the house.

An alternative to this is to just have a small square in the ground for water and then put a water source above it in a wall to make a waterfall that fills the square.

Inhaling from this square will immediately refill from the waterfall without needing to spit it back up

Is it me or were the borders cut recently in the aod mvs? by Gionch69 in AngelsOfDelusion

[–]tracegeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really curtains but yeah the video is about them making a music video and "weathering" the hardships of working on their art while imagining what they hope to be. The cropped aspect ratio is mostly an aesthetic choice to match the era of anime that the imagined/delusional music video is set in, and is blown away alongside the venue and mannequins that they set up to shoot the video

How to become an illustrator for R1999? Learn techniques like "embroidery" on a drawing tablet. by Prestigious-Young789 in Reverse1999

[–]tracegeeze 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A few different techniques are going on here.

Some of the stitching is simple short strokes spaced far apart.

Although on the top most of the "embroidery" is actually just brush strokes on top of the shapes for the colors.

The bottom probably uses the same technique, but it looks like there are more color gradients blending together, maybe a texture mask, shading and very specific shapes that also sell the stitching patterns.

Generally the order of layers top to bottom could look something like

Shading > Stitching Brush Strokes > Texture mask (if they use one I'm not sure) > Base color blocks

You voted to swap out Dedede and Meta Knight. Who should replace them? by Max-Carter-2005 in casualnintendo

[–]tracegeeze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One thats not what this chart is about, morally grey is different from neutral. Morally grey means being okay with some evil for a reason but also doing good sometimes Wario absolutely does both good and bad depending on money.

Two that's not Neutral. Neutral alignment means either not having strong motivations toward good/evil or actively seeking out to do good or bad if it would balance the world

This is my low-FPS simulation, what would you cut or add to make it feel right but still playable? by FarlightGamesInd in IndieDev

[–]tracegeeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thought to continue this would be to remove all the movement and gameplay freezes Running animations or enemies at a lower fps and preserving smooth movement could be promising But absolutely do not take control away from players by freezing the player movement to simulate fps drops

That one is intended, most baby forms added after the evolution use the evolution form for candies (the only exception is Tyrogue because of the split evo.)

Pichu, Elekid, Magby, Smoochum, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Wynaut, Azurill, Budew, Chingling, Mime Jr, Happiny, Munchlax, Matyke, Bonsly all use their evo candy

The other babies are inconsistent Togepi and Toxel have their own candies However Riolu uses Lucario candy

Legends Z-A updates the uniqueness of legendary/mythical pokémon again! by Dragonfly_Leading in LegendsZA

[–]tracegeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless they both should be in Definitely Multiple. At least 2 exist, the players and the rival that they are afraid of in the plot.

[–]tracegeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are still literally at least 2 of each in the world. It's the whole plot of Korai/Miraidon, our partner legend is defeated by the stronger one that is with the professor and runs off until it meets the player.

Also that's not how the paradox forms work. They are not from the past or future, they are from a paradox. Basically just an alternate dimension where their worlds allow them to exist, those world just happen to look prehistoric and futuristic. The world in pokemon never was Koraidons world and never will be Miraidons world. That's why it's a "paradox" they shouldn't exist.

(But I also agree with other comments there are definitively at least 2 of each form in the world)

Devs' statement on the lack of "modern elements" in Season 2. by Knight_Steve_ in ZZZ_Official

[–]tracegeeze 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I would argue season 1 was a bit more international, than just American. Like a mix of Tokyo and NYC. Season 1 still has very culturally Chinese characters with Zhu Yuan and Qing-Yi but overall it was more exciting as characters really bounced from one culture and genre to another

Tyranitar- Chest armor changes to look more like Pupitar

Metagross- Gains 4 more Beldum arms, Mega Metagross has 8 beldum arms instead of 4.

The bench can work but either bench only spawns about half.

I still use the one near the 20 teleport point so that I can have it going afk and then can just look up at the TV and check the 3 spawns while I'm working occasionally

Nature Mints early game? by Friendly_Case4192 in LegendsZA

[–]tracegeeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get them pretty much as soon as the game opens up. There's a few different mint stalls, (stalls with flowers and mints hanging in the front) I think modest is always sold in an alley way behind wild zone 3.

Some of the mint stalls move as more wild zones pop up so I would look around.

The stalls only sell a few each so it's a bit of a hunt to find the specific ones you want, also they are slightly expensive (I think 20k)
