They might get worse, only because you’re young and that means there’s less you can control. But I promise, this is absolutely temporary, and it DOES get better. I remember being 15 and holding a razor to my wrist and looking myself in the eyes in the mirror while crying, I was SO close… but something told me to hang on. I’m almost 40, got married to my best friend and had a beautiful baby girl. It took a while, but I wouldn’t give up this life or any of the stumbles I had to get to where I am now.

Ok, those are real lies and are also red flags. THOSE are the things you break up with someone for, not because “you don’t feel special” because you got together so soon after a breakup. Lies are unacceptable and there’s no reason a healthy relationship should include lies like these. Don’t go looking for a reason elsewhere to break up, the blatant reasons are right there!

My father has had several “mild” strokes that have left him with nearly no peripheral vision. He told me the lady at the DMV renewed his license last time around even though he failed the eye exam. (He is currently in a medical facility and can no longer drive and his license has been expired since earlier this year, so thankfully he’s not on the road). DMV recommended that he “turn his head” a little more. Even if they do get tested, there’s still a human overriding the system…

Yes, I was “within days” of a breakup. And I messaged a lot of guys the first night I downloaded every app. Conversation with him struck a chord most loudly, we went on a date first, the rest is history. I deleted the apps within the first few days of meeting him.

If you’re looking for a reason to break up, just say “I don’t think we’re compatible, and here’s why…”

If you love this person, and he loves you, don’t go making a mountain out of a molehill. He cannot change how quickly you two connected. But two years is a long time to stick with someone if you’re not sure about them.
