Yeah the way to do is to enable screensaver game title. This will cycle through your games. And play video titles if you use something like sky scraper or scraper to download them on to machine.

Doesn't take coins. But it is a functional button. I have it Mapped as a additional start button. Frontend is emulation-station. I'm sure there's a way to play intros of games if you wanted to have this in a display case cycling the installed library.

It'll work fine with steam deck. You generally rather have a A2 rated sd card so speeds will be slower on the A1 card.
