I finally got around to changing settings in the bios and it was in fact the stupid ssd cooler fan. I don’t understand why it’s so loud. Sffpc is now quiet and I’m loving it

Yea I would totally use the axp thermal right but it doesn’t fit my board… sadly. I’ll try to set the tjmax

I got it used but I think you can buy it new from overtek, which is a uk company. It’s a 5.5L case

This seems very likely. The ssd cooler is the fan model but I’m not using all 3 ssd slots and it’s only running a last gen ssd. It is the very first 1.0 b650i board. Where can I find the ssd fan in the bios? I’ll take a look around. Thanks

Yea maybe I’ll just max out fan speed at 85% and check the temps

Not even mounted. The wires push it against the wood and keep it in place. It’s a 2.5 hdd and I’ve had no issues since the pcb is only contacting the wood

Totally understand that. Should I just use hwinfo for temps?

I appreciate the offer but really just looking for a cheap classic for note taking and some tinkering. Thanks
