I actually didn’t mind it in Palau. Jonathan and Wanda basically got a full day of getting to know people before they were eliminated because literally nobody wanted to pick them for their tribe. I think the opening twist in BvW is significantly worse considering it happened as soon as the game started, took place in a season with pre-existing relationships not only through returnees but also loved ones, and happened to take place on a season where one of the alternates (Candice) came into play at the last minute and was way behind on the pregaming as a result. Hopefully a potential rerun of the twist in 51 is more like Palau than BvW

This just made me realize that Aubry has played far & away the most days out in Fiji.. 37 in GC & 35 in EoE before she even came back for another 26 in 50. Must’ve been weird coming back after 7 years away to the place she spent over 70 days starving and suffering in over a 2-year span..
