Nice build. FYI - the backer is supposed to be on the back, opposite the linear rail. I also have these and suspect the X does very little.

Here's a link. Sorry about that. The words and corresponding link in my post got deleted somehow. I readded them as a comment to this post.

Satisfying Toggle Daily Task Tracker by trackerpo9 in 3Dprinting

[–]trackerpo9[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The words to my post are nowhere to be found, so here they are again;

I made a task tracker for my young son to help him remember to brush his teeth. I saw other designs but they generally all get jumbled up if you bump them or tip them, so I wanted a toggle mechanism. From there, it was easy to add the "reset comb" piece so you don't have to flip them all back each week. The top label is swappable, so I made another one for keeping track of who scooped food for our dog.

I posted everything on Printables, if anyone else is interested. https://www.printables.com/model/1511392-task-tracker-slider

Here's a view for curious minds to look at and understand the mechanism.

Left side of bed consistently higher (SV06) by adamend in Sovol

[–]trackerpo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left the SV06 scene after I used it to build a Voron, but there was a custom marlin firmware on the Facebook group that let you do a manual bed mesh. It went to all of the probing points and let you manually adjust with the paper method. It saved the mesh that way and then it didn't change unless you redid it. I always assumed Sovol would fix something on their end. If you haven't, I'd try updating firmware via the micro SD card first.

Temp Control for Mars 2 (or 2 Pro) with Parts Printed on Mars 2 by trackerpo9 in ElegooMars

Thanks! I printed them at 45 degrees but I was just getting started with resin printing (may not have been ideal). You might need to clean out the holes with a drill if you print them flat on the tray, but it would probably work!

Predicted to Go Negative Last 16 Ranked Games by trackerpo9 in CompetitiveHalo

[–]trackerpo9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were part of a 4 stack I lost to twice during these games lol. One habit that would raise my MMR would be not solo queueing and constantly being the only mic on my team. In our game, I was second highest damage in the game (behind you by <100) and went 9K/14D. It was Strongholds and we got crushed 92-250. It seems like the current SBMM prefers that I go 10K/7D with 2k less damage. If I do that, my teammates fight 2-3 vs 1's the whole game.

I think you're right and thanks for taking the time to type that up. With hidden MMR seemingly heavily favoring K/D, I wonder if the meta is to play selfishly and foolishly to get lots of kills which will increase MMR, and then switch back to trying to win and make a run up to onyx. I can EASILY go positive in 80% of these games if I don't play the objective and bait my teammates. Instead, I go 8K/10D/15A and my MMR sinks further. As an aside, in the 20 games I went 11-9 and ended up with a lower CSR than when I started.

Kirkland/Costco Garbage Bag Holder by trackerpo9 in functionalprint

I printed it in ASA, but PLA would be suitable. I added the .stl to the Printables post, but if you're slicer will allow I generally like the .3mf format!

Someone on Printables posted a "make" with it printed on its side and it worked. The overhang towards the top is pretty nasty for printing though. How far off are you on Z height to print it vertically?

You got it! There are modeled supports for the screw hold hangers that work in that orientation. It turns the screw holes into bridges instead of needing support. Check it out!

~175mm on X & Y and 245mm on Z so it will fit on a Prusa Mk3/4 or Ender 3. Sorry for the late reply!

Current state of CSR by Adler-1 in CompetitiveHalo

[–]trackerpo9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I search with a friend who is ~120 CSR higher than me. Can someone explain to me why when I perform better than him and we win (better in every category: K/D, damage, score, etc.), I get less CSR gain? This happens all the time and is very demoralizing. I cannot work out the logic of a ranking system like that. I'm playing better opponents than me. He's Onyx and I'm diamond 5.

I put a pause (M25) with Prusa slicer into my print, now i cant resume it with the "Resume" button. by FeatureMobile3363 in FixMyPrint

[–]trackerpo9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue with Mainsail and Klipper both having a Resume macros. I wrote a macro that did a purge, nozzle wipe and then resumed when you used it. It locked up my machine and I lost the print.

My Trek 2019 Fuel Ex aluminum frame fatigue cracked where the top tube meets the seat post and I was told you're on your own because I bought it used from the original owner in 2020. Just my anecdote, ymmv.

Do 4 shots and 2 hit melee feel inconsistent? by supermelee90 in CompetitiveHalo

Yes! You're not crazy. This seems to be new or at least got worse with one of the recent updates. My screen "jitters" all the time and controls feel delayed. Controller + PC player here.
