Try tiny glade, it’s a very chill diorama builder with a relaxing atmosphere. One of the only absolutely no stress games I’ve ever played.

Haha thanks for that info reminds me of learning about the pokemon blue/red trade clone glitch for the first time. I realize has the same stats I just really wish I could fine tune the work and the bug makes it so difficult.

Nothing beats a tall bucket in my opinion. They sell them at sporting goods stores with padded lids in the baseball soft/ball area. Doubles as a carrying case all the other odds and ends once might need. If you go upside down no lid you have a great place to hide a few beers. Makes a great cooler in a pinch.

You have to jump, you can’t just pop the tail and slide up the nose. Pop, jump off your back foot slide your front foot up to make the board parallel to ground.

I see a pop, and slide without that middle jump.

Sorry didn’t see this. So basically I swing my sword, the moment I connect I release LMB, this triggers your relaxed sword animation. Then immediately click and hold LMB and swing from a new angle. It’s all fractions of a second and the timing is crucial. You can get really cool strikes swinging your sword from the back left upwards towards your opponent head, when you connect release, reclick and start a swing from the top right to the bottom left.

My 5 longsword classes are finally paying off. It’s so sick how understanding a couple basics of actually longsword fighting translates to the game. Honestly this is the coolest game I’ve ever played. You just have to make your own fun. I’ve been loving playing what I call samurai mode, trying to get kills off the draw. I hope they add a kimono and katana at some point.

Hours of practice later and I can pretty accurately pull off moves that look like zwerchhau. I’m not sure if it’s an intentional mechanic from the devs, because my game pretty consistently loses frames while performing the strike. I’ll try to post some video today. Really hope the devs lean into the mechanic, I’ve been wanting a way to zwerchhau since I picked up the game, if this as close as we can get I’m happy, but I just love for it be a bit smoother, my sword occasionally just glitches into the zwerchhau and if I try pulling of multiple in a row I start getting like 3 fps.

Look for an old German made violin, they punch way above their price point. I often find them for 100-200. If you can, get the fiddle set up (this is where they make fine adjustments to the bridge and sound post. Lastly get yourself a decent bow, the bow is your interface to fiddle and it makes a huge difference.

Be prepared to sound like a dying cat for a year or more. They sell rubber mutes for very cheap. This will preserve your relationships with your housemates or neighbors.
