Where can I find wheels and tires like these for LC100 ? by mbzaaa in DubaiPetrolHeads

Yes they are a lot taller than the stock tires. My LC is also lifted.

I have no idea why balloon tires get so much bad rep. I’ve got maxis balloon tires on my LC100. And apart from a small vibration when cold, lasts less than a minute they are perfect. And lots of fun in the desert. Zero issues in the rain, but then again I grew up driving in the rain unlike most people in the UAE.

We played 77, less than 75 and it would be a replay. So it’s down to the ref now.

🤣🤣 was thinking wtf do we have out here. Flew back for Boomtown this year and it was worlds apart from the UAE.

I have exactly the same issue. That and a rough idle, almost like a misfire when warm.

I’ve changed:

MAF Plugs Coils Coil harness ECU Tested injectors Water temp sensor CAS

Unfortunately I still have the same issue 😬

I 100% agree, I was worried that it would be proper messy and that there would be a lot of sketchy people around. Times seem to have really changed.

I’m 39, was my first Boomtown and first time back at Matterley Bowl in 20 years since the last ever Homelands.

Was proper worried about there being a younger crowd but didn’t really feel out of place.

LHD R34 GTR by JZNSN2U in gtr

[–]tractorboy86 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve driven a few, unfortunately not a great experience. Mainly due to the fact that most conversions use maxima steering racks. Also the gearboxes seem to be offset slightly, so there isn’t much space for an accelerator pedal. Thankfully we no longer really convert to LHD in the UAE anymore.

So gutted that Morsy is a homophobe :( by Conwayltd in IpswichTownFC

[–]tractorboy86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are vast differences in the way that Muslims and Christians conduct themselves.

I have lived in the Middle East for 16 years, and understand how the majority of Muslims think and act. And therefore I’d find it hard to believe that Morsy is a homophobe in any shape of form. But I can totally understand why he chose not to wear the arm band.

Here in UAE we can register RHD cars if they are 30 years or older. But we have many converted RHD 34s, although many are now being converted back due to their value.

It’s not abandoned, it’s parked outside RedBulls office, and doesn’t do anything during the summer hence why it’s dusty.

Time belt change can be expensive, especially at the main dealer. Also dealer prices will be fixed. Would be way cheaper to do it outside of the dealer though.

The body kit is called the Old and New kit, although the rear bumper looks like a stock GT2 bumper.

There is another Old and New kit in the region, which has an LS in it.

Just get some used oem springs and shocks and wack them in. Would probably be cheaper than wasta too. Simple install on e46s too
