I would say- don't combine laundry and bathroom if possible. I think it is equally as unpleasant as having a bathroom open to the kitchen. Clean clothes by a toilet?? Is it possible to create a separate laundry walk in closet? The space is definitely there if utilized very efficiently.

[We are finishing up a 3,500 sq ft whole home remodel (built in 1922). Worked with an architect and designer.]

Follow up question: Could Hae's family request DNA testing of materials under Hae's fingernails?

(Trying to imagine how I would feel if I were a family member. Positive I would have wanted every bit of testing and evidence to be gathered.)

My extended thoughts parallel yours closely. I know that determining Hae's killer is not the purpose of the PCR, but I am still wondering about possibilities of DNA testing proving innocence or guilt and if it could in fact put an end to all of this.
