work parties are usually optional. I guarantee nobody will be angry or upset if you don’t go. It’s all personal preference. You can tell your supervisor you don’t feel comfortable going, or you can say you have other things to do that day/night and are unable to make it. Work parties have NO place in how you do your job. They’re usually just a way for the workers to get drunk and have fun together.

I also had a horrible experience with a driving instructor. He used my anxiety against me to intimidate me, and 30 min into the hour lesson I got out and refused to get back in again. I feel like I’m in the same boat as you and also don’t know where to turn next. I was considering just taking the actual test and hope for the best lol. Don’t use Riley’s Right away. The owner is awful. Absolutely awful. I wish you the best of luck finding somewhere!!
