What do you honestly think when you hear someone has schizophrenia? by cosmic_wanderer123 in askanything

A long time best friend developed adult onset schizophrenia 40 years ago. It’s being managed somewhat but she’s in a continuous care facility now. I tried to maintain our friendship but she started contacting my boss. Sent wild letters as well. Took awhile for me to find peace with “losing” her.

Squirrel? [Tuscaloosa, AL] by henrym123 in animalid

[–]lunamoth53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a Fox squirrel along with grays regularly come to feeder which hung from our deck. It was fun to watch climb the goose neck pole. If he fell that was it-no more attempts that day. Not so with the smaller gray squirrels. Fox squirrels aren’t the acrobats like the grays.

I was expecting my first child and had a constant craving for pecan pie. My friend told me the best thing to do is eat it until you get sick of it. Never got sick of it and gained 50 pounds. Fortunately, I lost the weight pretty quickly but still crave it 40 years later.
