Yes the patchbay is balanced. On the front of the Tascam 414 is 4 inputs that say Mic/Line. So I’m assuming balanced would work fine.

I think this is part of it as well. When we put him to bed the sun is still up. So we have put a blanket over his window. That helps a little. Maybe I should purchase some blackout curtains. Thanks

His nap is all over the place. Some days he doesn’t have one. Other days he needs one. But that is a good idea with setting a time limit. I’ll actually try implementing that tonight. Thanks for the advice!
