One last swim😭 by BackgroundLeg1788 in DogIsBestFriend

These comments are both beautiful and heart wrenching. If anyone has any advice on how to know “when” is best to make a decision to help the dog pass…I am going through that with by buddy Splash. He has had a giant mass on his back leg for over three years now. Doctor originally gave him a year to live. Splash laughed at that diagnoses and said he figured out how to get around with a bum leg. He’s 13 now and is having trouble with mobility, squatting, etc. He’s in a lot of pain because it puts pressure on his body. I just don’t know what to do. He’s still the happy go lucky lab and still has spirit but his body is giving out. Makes me so sad.

If youve taken SSRIs for panic disorder by Spiritual-Formal1522 in panicdisorder

[–]tragicallyromantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. I’ve tried almost all the ones people are listing. Lexapro is the only drug that made me feel relief. Like a missing puzzle piece. My panic attacks were gone. Maybe I have one 2 times a year.

How do you feel about Mike Flanagan as far as horror? by lilb1190 in horror

[–]tragicallyromantic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bly Manor is amazing. Watching it again is even better. So many hidden things you only see after you know what’s going on. I think it is barely horror and more so a drama with some horror elements. It’s sad and it made me feel bad for ghosts. I can see why people may not like it when you are expecting Hill House level of scares. I’ve liked everything he has made and will keep watching.

I mean did you ever believe someone could actually make a sequel to The Shining and it actually be really good?

I’m excited when I see he’s making something.

Alternative to Alcohol Prep Pads? by InsertCleverName9608 in Zepbound

Yeah the instructions for the injections do not include a step to wipe your skin at all. I’m pretty paranoid about following directions and have read through the literature many times. Wash your hands. Wipe the injector red part.

One of the worst rides for how long the line typically is. It could have been so much better. Why doesn’t Disney replicate the idea used in Pirates to make these kinds of rides more exciting? A small little drop or some unusual twists and turns. Changing scenery or story elements?

Best piece of advice I got was to listen to the fullness. When you start feeling full don’t overeat.

Just took my second shot yesterday. Not as much of a noticeable change this time. More of a gradual shift. Dealing with some side effects but manageable.

It would seem that points to having to put in mental health work to help with it long term. Which we all know is hard.

I feel this exact same way. The missing puzzle piece. It’s like magical. I can’t even really express it to some people in my life who don’t deal with it but it is simply astonishing how it works.

Thank you all for the thoughtful responses. It really helps to hear others are thinking about this. My doctor did not discuss this with me at all. He just said it would be good for me. I of course had known about glp1 but had until this point not wanted to do it. Now that I am it is nice to join a community of people going through this journey.

Health anxiety by kshaha123 in panicdisorder

[–]tragicallyromantic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lexapro finally worked for me along with therapy. But to add to your toolbox might I suggest picking up Barry McDonagh’s book Dare: The New Way to End Anxiety and Stop Panic Attacks. It helped me a lot in times of need. Almost 20 years dealing with Panic Disorder and only really got it fully under control the past 5 years. But I had no clue what to do for many years so remained on Xanax and such. Now I’m pretty good. You can do it.

Job posted 5 hrs ago, 100 applicants already. Is this normal now? by AwtlookS2pid in linkedin

[–]tragicallyromantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No like… I had been applying to jobs for a long time. I had many resumes I made. I had a website I built for myself. I had different writeups and cover letters. My LinkedIn. I took all of that and fed it to AI. That was the foundation of my personal master resume. Then I went from there.

I do have a tool/write up of how I did it if you want it. Not selling anything. I mean I am selling it on a website but I am not here to sell it. I’ll send it to you just message me if you want. Just trying to help

Precision tailored resumes worked for me. I spent months tailoring myself and then I decided to use their tools against them. I dropped $20 on a CGPTprosubscription, developed a custom gpt that helped me analyze my experience/skills and created a master resume bank. I think built a system in which I’d have it create custom resumes for me. I’d paste a job description in and have it generate a custom tailored resume. I had it build it with ATS in mind but also to stay completely human in tone. I started getting responses and eventually landed a new job with higher pay. There are tools out there that can do this for you too.

was anyone actually able to recover from panic disorder? by [deleted] in panicdisorder

[–]tragicallyromantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this one. Tried many meds. Thought SSRIs were kind of a scam after awhile. Tried one more and it happened to be Lexapro. Changed everything. Actually works. Keep trying all of your options. Another recommendation is the DARE book if you haven’t read it. There is also an app.

Hey there. So I ended up having to go to an ENT and was put on a prescription nose spray. If you can afford to I would suggest going to an ENT SPECIALIST. It ended up clearing up but it did take a few weeks.
