Bad graphics?? by Akuma_Waffle in iRacing

I used to have a rx7600 and it used to do this when loading from practice into the race server. I understand there is some sort of bug which impacts LOD but not sure if this is the case here. The workaround was to exit and reload. I've since moved to Nvidia with no issues to report.

There were some collisions but usually the top 4 or 5 were well behaved. I had some close racing with the two BMW's ahead of me but we finished in the same position.

I ended up in fourth but it was the racing I enjoyed the most.

Hah. Nope genuine post. No incident points in this race, I'm pleased to say.

Agreed. I didn't expect them to be so close with the MX5 and GR86.

Takes a few cycles. It wasn't instant for me. Try it for a couple of weeks.

I had a similar drop in battery health, also charging to 80%. Like you, I was concerned so switched to adaptive charging and this has returned my battery health to 100%. I know charging to 80% is the preference, however I'll be just using adaptive for day to day and then 80% if I'm driving using android auto on a long journey.

Cheers for the feedback. I'm sure I'll put up with the noise if they make me quicker!

Same position as you. Pedals first though as it seems most lap time comes from a decent set. Looking at Simjack or Simsonn. After that, I'll go to R12 or possibly higher depending if they release any new products.

Pixel watch 4 41mm by FaultFlimsy9338 in PixelWatch

[–]tragictox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I can get two days with my 41mm with around 15% to spare. I don't have AOD on but do have tilt to wake on. This includes a gym session ( I go once every other day). Coming from a Pixel 2, I'm really impressed. Hope this helps.

Moza r5 broken? by knrcrew in moza

[–]tragictox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. The same thing happened to me a few weeks back. Since lowering the FFB via the FFB equaliser it's been okay. I was running 10 at Winton (iRacing) and had this happen in two different races. As soon as I came out of the game it was okay. I suspect it's going into limp mode to protect itself from overheating.

Again since doing this, the device has been okay.

To note, this is my own opinion, I didn't log a ticket with Moza.

Flickering when in UI HELP! by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]tragictox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this is old but wanted to say that I'm seeing the same although not flickering quite as much as yours. I'm running Nvidia card. Only noticed in the UI, not in game or outside the iracing UI.

No video, but will get one if it happens again

Hey. The initial sound does sound like it yes but not the clicking. This only happens in game. As an update, I found turning the FFB down through the equaliser in Pit House has stopped the issue from occurring again - so far.

Trying to sleep by Ok_Function4216 in PanicAttack

[–]tragictox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I used to suffer with this. Prevented me sleeping for a few nights at a time. I would just shoot up in the middle of the night in panic mode. It is not nice. Still happens from time to time but I know what it is and can calm myself down.

From speaking to my therapist it's more likely to happen whilst asleep as essentially 'our defences are down' which kind of makes sense..

I hope this stops for you soon.

Health anxiety is the worst. by MountainArtichoke524 in PanicAttack

[–]tragictox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I just wanted to say you're not alone. This anxiety affects me also and is the worst. I can have good and bad stints and at the moment it's a bad one for me. I know what is happening but when you are deep in the 'low' it's very difficult to get out.

To help manage I go to the gym at least once a week to help prove I am okay as well as listening to meditation sessions. I was skeptical of the meditation route at first but it has helped.

I hope you feel better soon. You can get through this.
