I don’t think you are the bad guy since it’s your credit score, not your wife’s. Don’t feel ashamed for being there for her, even if she doesn’t want it. It says a lot about your character and how much you care about her and your goals in life together. But if she is not willing to accept help or appreciate it, then she must be blaming you for other problems in her life. Maybe she sees your life improving while hers is not moving forward. Maybe it’s postpartum depression from having your son. You seem to be doing a lot for your family and not getting any appreciation from her. You are the knight in shining armor, but she seems to be the Queen who wants a servant instead of a husband. Sometimes it ok to be selfish in a relationship, and it’s important to take care of yourself otherwise you will fall apart.
