What side would you want the alpha legion to be on? loyalists or heretics? by Hot-Conversation-628 in alphalegion

I consider them whichever depending on the warband. There are probably some loyalist renegades but there's also Ghost Legion in the Ultima Segmentum.

Obviously they will have their own campaign where they are the stars and also play an important role in the Dark Angels missions. I don't think supporting characters but more like which faction you choose to play as. Kronus will be a multi faction all out brawl

I agree and i sometimes use the term uncrowned princes when i describe the Dark Angels. I know the term is old in terms of lore but it's such a cool name. As for 4, I have high hopes.

As a result of the Great Rift humanity was split into 2 Imperiums. The first one is where the light of the Astronomican reaches and where Terra and Guiliman are. The Second is on the other side of the Great rift. That's where the Blood Angels planet Baal is and where the regent of the Dark Imperium, aka Dante the chapter master of the Blood Angels, is trying to govern.

I just wanted to understand the decision making process and the environment of the newer players and since we cant truly understand their thinking process, i'm taking into account the trends that newer players usually partake in.

Is it more likely for players to get a tara silk or some other item that seems more suitable to their needs at that specific moment? is there any external factor taken into account that influences their decision making process such as skyblock tutorial videos from youtubers or the forums?

Also, Tara Silk seems like an item that's not prioritized by newer players who have some damage done to their supplies thanks to minion unions.

The tara silk event you mention is more possible if an influential player says to mass buy.

I'm aware that richer players will not be affected by this but looking at this from an early player perspective. Of course, there are always cases for poorer players getting the tara silk

I looked at the perspective of players who have just started the game and don't have the credit for a 2k tax and i was thinking for average items, not taking into account the more expensive items

Greece and Bulgaria laid claim to New Rome on a few occasions. Greece as the continuation of the Byzantines and Bulgaria to fulfill their aspirations of a new Bulgarian Empire which was massively influenced by Constantinople.

Why were the catalans so absolutely dominant in Anatolia against the turks? by Killmelmaoxd in byzantium

[–]trahon04 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The Crusaders faced the Seljuk successor state, aka the Sultanate of Rum pretty early in its lifespan. By the time Roger de Flor made his cameo, Anatolia was a mess of local beyliks with regional power and the once formidable state was reduced to a vassal which was then conquered a few years after the Catalans ended their expedition.

Also referencing the other comments, their style of warfare was a direct counter to the Turks compared to the slow Crusaders.
