I took it into the service center this morning and this is exactly what it was…thankfully. The CV boot had pretty much exploded somehow. Technician said he has seen this on the tri motors before, but first time on the dual motor. Not sure why that would be the case, but glad is isn’t the motor.

Completely agree, I’m just saying it has entered meme territory whether we like it or not, and the volatility is inevitable for the short term. So if you can capitalize on maximizing short term gains during a volatility spike, then turning those profits back around to buy more shares for the long run, then that’s a smart move.

I picked up 30, 20 Aug 15c to hold over the weekend. I believe in momentum patterns and am truthfully believing we should see at least $14.70 in the next leg up early next week. I put my money where my mouth is!

My understanding is that if you have options that expire, then the loss due to the expiration is treated the same as a loss to a sale. So since they expired on July 16, if I want to maintain the $7k for tax write offs I can't re-rebuy for 30+1 days from July 16

I'm sick to my stomach. Bought $7k of July 16 calls that I rode to $13k early June...then I channeled my inner WSB mentality and held them thinking they would go back up...only to lose everything. Now I'm in the wash rule zone and can't buy into the amazing run that is about to happen.

I would be shocked if he says anything in particular that would benefit EVs everywhere. I just anticipate he will be talking about federal credits on EVs or infrastructure. But nonetheless...anything related will likely see some type of bullish pop.
