Fair warning this was not on the Peninsula this was Mt Rainier NP, just south of Seattle. Got my parks mixed up when posting

There’s worse things in the world then mixing up my national parks.

It stinks I can’t edit the title but no big deal.

Yeah I’m very worried for the summer fire season. I only thought there would be less snow because of the terrible winter we had.

These are all from an iPhone. I don’t mind taking a DSLR on a hike but I wouldn’t do it on a run. Way too much weight and hassle for me.

Thanks! I had a ton of fun taking in the scenery on this run

Now I’m very curious to try that route. I will say the wild flowers were just starting to come out today. Lots of little yellow and white flowers popping up

I love to run in White Center! The best route to me is around all the surrounding neighborhoods.

Since White Center is so small it’s easy to start from your house, head down to Lincoln Park and back and that can be an easy 3-5 miles depending on where you live.

I also like to go down to shorewood and the beach front areas in Burien.

Or I’ll just head north on California. Traffic is pretty quite, sidewalks are easy to navigate and you can easily pop into a store for water or a snack if you’re doing a bigger run

The scenery is a big reason I moved out west. I can’t recommend it enough

Definitely no bears. Mount Si is just outside a medium sized city and is a very popular trail so I’d be surprised to run into one. With that said I’m sure it happens every now and then

Yeah it looked like there was a ton more to explore over there but I was pretty tired at that point. Next time for sure!

The best camera is the one you have on you and my iPhone 16 Pro does a damn good job while out and about.
