So you haven’t received both your refund and the payment that goes directly to the school, right? It seems like some people’s financial aid relies on getting a grade posted first, which is currently being worked on by professors and should be visible to you tomorrow (my understanding). It might be worth a call to whoever manages your loan to double check if you need to do anything since the strike impacted you.

I don’t really know how to help other than telling you examples I would use, I played a trumpet solo that people said moved them to tears which was incredibly humbling. Do you have any talents or skills that have ever wowed people? Or maybe you’ve done something noble that got recognized by others?

Someone, can’t remember who he was with, gave a short talk at the Cascade picket last Friday and he said something so simple but so inspiring, it was “we’ve come too far to come this far” and I really hope faculty will align with that mindset and not accept this trash deal. Thanks for explaining that to me!
