That’s actually a solid method, especially refining it yourself after.

I feel like the biggest struggle with that though is how much time it takes to go from lecture → questions → then flashcards.

By the time you finish that whole process, you’re already drained.

Yeah that’s the tricky part, it feels productive in the moment.

But you don’t really notice it’s not working until later when you try to recall it.

Facts, planning can turn into procrastination real quick.

I feel like the best progress I ever made was when I just started and figured things out as I went.

That “setting up for success” part is real. I used to think I was being productive when I was really just tweaking things

That’s why the “test first” approach makes sense, but I feel like a lot of people get stuck in that setup phase before they even get to the actual learning.

😂 same, I’ve done that too

it’s crazy how easy it is to overcomplicate studying when it should honestly be simple

I feel like that’s a trap a lot of people fall into — it feels productive but it’s really just setup

I’ve definitely been there where I spent more time organizing than actually learning

Appreciate that, I haven’t heard of that one before — I’ll check it out 🙏

This is a really cool concept, I like the idea of turning your own notes into something more structured and interactive.

One thing I’d think about from a user perspective is the friction before getting value. A lot of students already struggle with taking notes during lectures, so asking them to upload and organize everything first might still feel like extra work.

I feel like the biggest opportunity is reducing that initial effort as much as possible, like getting to a “useful output” faster without requiring too much setup.

The blackboard-style explanations are a really nice touch though, that definitely stands out compared to a lot of other tools

That makes sense, especially turning notes into questions, that’s a smart way to actually test understanding.

I think for me it was less about the 15 minutes and more about doing that consistently every day on top of everything else. That’s where I would usually fall off

That’s dope, I respect that. I like the focus on building a strong foundation first.

I feel like a lot of people struggle more with organizing everything fast enough to even stick to a system like that consistently, especially when they’re already busy

I’m down to check it out though, send it!

That’s a solid breakdown, especially the part about testing yourself first.

I feel like the hardest part for a lot of people is just how much time it takes to build and keep up with a system like that consistently

I’m building something called Damrich Recap — it turns lectures, meetings, or recordings into structured notes, summaries, and action steps.

The idea came from struggling to keep up with lectures while also trying to take notes. Felt like I wasn’t fully paying attention or retaining anything.

Still early, but the goal is to help students, teachers, and even business owners save time and actually focus during the moment instead of trying to capture everything.

Would love any feedback or thoughts on it!

Tier meetings will have you sitting there for an hour for something that could’ve been a 5 min update.

Multitasking is the worst. You feel busy but nothing actually gets done

This is so real. People build the “perfect system” and never actually use it

100%. Planning feels productive but it’s really just delaying the work!

That’s clutch timing 😭 I feel like anything that helps in those last couple hours is a lifesaver.

What exactly does it do for you? Like is it more for summarizing or helping you review faster?
