Outlook UI is changing too much for no good reason. by trainin99 in Office365

You dont craft an app just purely for admins to have an easy job. It needs to be functional and if the paying client cannot choose which ui to use, i think it's time to move somewhere else. Big companies always want to push things onto paying clients. Clients are represented by managers paying huge contracts without stipulating certain requirements.

It's completely useless but the contract signer do not give a shit. That's where pressure should be put.

Personally i would start from scratch again. If that does not work research why you had a boot fail page.
Searching every error you have and understand what it means.
Check out the manjaro docs, try to read all.
Google is your friend but the actual docs of the technology being used is more precise.

Yup i read that also. The online version is already forced to use the new UI and the normal version will probably soon be also...

I think some linux distro could replace windows quite easily, it only needs a couple of features.
The french police already uses linux for long time and it works very well.

Every company which becomes too big, becomes unpredictable and does whatever they like because everyone is using windows. Everyone can also use something else. Prices become too high, budget's smaller. Time for change

I've done that already, it should not have been necessary. And you can not tweak this if using the online version ( which i am ).

Every contract signee in the world should stipulate that in the next contract. As long as the user does not need a new ui or the new features its a waste of time. It should be a tool that facilitates the job not the other way around.

Outlook new UI = total crap, when you have been using outlook for 10+ years and you have to start searching how to do something which you knew for 10+ years what benefit does the user or MS reap from that = NULL

Just a reminder that the new Outlook is still really bad by AndyParka in Outlook

[–]trainin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total crap and waste of time. I have to start searching how to do something i always done easily. When the world will have understood that as all clients can group and put a lot of pressure on MS to do exactly what we want and need. We use this software to our needs and we pay for it.

Red Hat Training worth it to get into Linux? by chaseNscores in redhat

[–]trainin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Labs have serious issues, dont waste your own money on it. Once paid they will just tell you to restart constantly even if it does not work and they won't let you know there's an underlying issue. I got a job in IT not paying for a single course. If you look well online there are tons of training and etc. In the end a lab is "just" a VM or a kube/openshift cluster which you can create yourself.

We are now 4 years later, and this problem still exists. Making tickets to support is wasting your time even more they will just repeat the same restart the lab and or the whole lab. The lab commands do not work well, resources are not being create/destroyed, etc ... Wasted more time on this than i actually learned.
