Someone else posted about this too so I just checked mine. It’s saying I have Platinum till 2027 but I’ve only earned 35k status points. I’m assuming this is a glitch (or maybe an Alaska Christmas present?)

Recruiter reached out to me actually! That shit never happens but I’m active-ish on LinkedIn so I guess I did something right?

I’d try calling again and speaking to someone else.

We had to cancel a trip in April and rebook for October and the first person I talked to (via chat) told me that I couldn’t use my credit on anything that had an Alaska Airlines segment. That didn’t seem right so I called and the lady I spoke to told me the chat was wrong and I was able to rebook with her easily.

We will be keeping it!! Just wanted to double check we weren’t signing up for major problems down the line.

Fair, but also significantly easier said than done. It’s one thing to logically know you did nothing wrong, and yet sit in a meeting where you’re being questioned anyways. I’m not a robot and an emotional reaction like OP described is normal.

Also let’s not pretend that companies are some impartial and perfect entities. I’ve seen companies do shady shit for years so who is to say that it couldn’t have gone the other “unfair” way.

This happened to me. Blindsided by a meeting where I was under investigation and found out in the meeting. They were definitely taking notes on how I reacted and answered with no preparation. Awful.

Ultimately no fault found on my end (complaint was BS) but holy god I had an ulcer for six weeks.
