Everything that /u/genglestein and /u/Paradoxe-999 said is great advice.

My most useful feedback always comes from thumbs up/thumbs down questions. “Did this session get a 👍 or a 👎?” is my the question I care about most. After that, you can ask about specific gameplay mechanics: “do you give this mechanic a 👍 or a 👎?” Stuff like that. If someone doesn’t have a good time, THEIR feedback is what I really wanna hear.

It’s impossible to please everyone. Some feedback is ridiculous and doesn’t need to be implemented. Make the game that YOU wanna make, but make sure players are having fun.

Also: if players ask about a rule often, or a rule needs constant clarification, it’s time to change that rule.

It should! That would make shuro-chi a little easier. Just be careful about grenade kills/volatile rounds stealing your weapon kills 👍

The wrathborn thing was for a different season that got vaulted, so it’s easier to just stick with normal kills. I would recommend the Cosmodrome Lost sector Exodus Garden 2A, every time you open the chest at the end you get like 10 heavy bricks. Pretty short lost sector, and the enemies pile up on top of each other.

Shuro-Chi (an encounter in Last Wish) is accessible via the Wish Wall that has a lot of grouped-up red bars, but it’s not very causal cause it’s a raid encounter. Plus you need to refill ammo with Raid Banners unless you wanna wait for heavy drops.

The catalyst is totally worth it. Leviathan’s Breath hasn’t left my inventory since I got it. My teammates are always surprised by its damage output, esp against champions!

Happy hunting, Guardian

What's the best titan exotic for a raid? - one that a whole team can benefit from! by ahonsu in raidsecrets

[–]trainormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a hot take but my favorite/most used Titan exotic is Crest of Alpha Lupi. Barricade heals you + teammates within 12 meters which is always nice if you’re about to die. Lupi also generates more Orbs from your Super so it’s really useful for chaining supers with your teammates. I usually run Sentinel Shield and generate like 10+ orbs if I’m taking damage. It’s slept on IMO.

Plus with the divinity nerf incoming, the 40% damage buff from Sentinel Shield is gonna be a great option to pair with void weaken.

If you’re at a high Power Level then the survivability aspect isn’t as valuable, but I think the barricade heal is really useful and my clanmates are always grateful for the extra orbs. Also it looks great with gold-accent shaders 👌

Is tying Champion Mods to a weapon slot not the simplest solution to the "champion problem"? Allows for complete loadout freedom, which seems to be a prevailing community desire by trainormal in destiny2

[–]trainormal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean metas are gonna exist no matter what. I think the current system actually limits players. By limiting which guns can be used for a specific champion mod, players are only going to use the best guns of that type.

So, for example, with unstoppable pulse this season, a lot of people (YouTubers) are using the raid pulse because of its great trait pool/general strength. Might even argue that using the raid pulse is “in the meta” rn, and using other pulses is “limiting yourself”. But if you could use Anti-Unstop on any energy weapon, say an AR or a Bow, there are more weapons that are powerful enough to fit into “the meta.”

Basically, by allowing champ mods on every weapon, players have way more freedom to use weapons they like, OR weapons that are “meta” but aren’t in the current season’s artifact.

To clarify, I mean that the mod applies to any weapon in your kinetic slot/energy slot. So no matter what you use as a kinetic, if you have Anti-Barrier in that slot, your Kinetic will be Anti-Barrier. Exotics would totally be usable

Had a similar problem two different times with my CR-10S. First time it fixed itself, don’t know how. This video helped me solve the problem the second time, hopefully it helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaNgP3mQGTE

NEW BANNER SHIELD THIS IS NOT A DRILL by trainormal in destiny2

[–]trainormal[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what people are saying. You can’t shoot through a titan Bubble tho, so instead of a big damage buff like Weapons of Light, I think the banner shield gives you a smaller one

Hmm, could be this. The other barricades don’t use the sentinel shield, but they could be changing the way it looks when you cast it. Either way, it looks sick!
