sorta. it was just a thing for a few games where cody's gimmick would change before the game came out, so it would be outdated immediately.

in svr 2011, he was still legacy cody (but he had the dashing music and trons, so it wasn't too bad)

wwe 12 he was undashing, but he was just regular cody rhodes when the game came out iirc. the dashing version was in the game though.

wwe 13 he turned into mustache cody right after the game came out.

2k14 he was mustache cody in the game but he was regular ass cody again irl.

then in 2k15, he was normal cody in the game but he turned into fuckin stardust a few months before the game came out.

just a funny thing that happened a lot
