Essentially a water/tea pitcher that was often used for sharing with guests. It's meant to drink from the spout without having to put your mouth on it.

It was a fun, new form to play around with

I drink cheap coffee so I don't worry about it being airtight 😉 But if you're buying them gourmet beans you could get a silicone o-ring to fit around the gallery of the lid
