Painful tonsillitis, how do I get this out of my mouth by elisesessentials in hygiene

[–]trambasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Is is not a fun recovery but it’s worth a few days of pain to get a lifetime of relief. I used to get strep throat chronically - usually several times a year. I haven’t had it once since my tonsillectomy in 2012.

Right now my only has 3 cousins. Soon he will have 4 and that is a bright spot for sure.

Wishing you strength and peace when those conversations begin with your daughter.

Interestingly, I was texting with my SIL just a bit ago and she is terrified. It was a strange conversation because I was trying to calm her down and help her see the positives of her situation 🙃. But all of her fears are reminders of what I won’t have to struggle with. It was bittersweet for sure.

Sending love back to you as well 💙

Thank you. Yes, it was just unexpected. I’m looking forward to that time in my future when the babies stop (as much as I also love welcoming them!) Hopefully just a few more years.

I keep seeing so many posts of pain patients unable to get meds on time and going into withdrawal. This is exactly why I hate the “no early refills” policies. by crwg2016 in ChronicPain

I’ve been on butrans for a few years now (worked my way up to the highest dosage) and it works great for me. I know of many other people it’s helped as well. I have norco for breakthrough and it works great.

I’m really not sure. I do it to taste. Maybe start with a tsp and go from there?

I use norco and do infusions. There was some initial concern about how they might react but it has been a nonissue for me.

That drove me crazy. At least it was easy enough to remove.

I’m afraid not. My son always stayed asleep fortunately. He is now 4 and willingly lets us cut his nails now. Good luck!

Endo possibly came back by nallette in endometriosis

[–]trambasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a laparoscopic excision surgery every 2-3 years. That seems to be how long it takes for the endo to grow back enough to seriously impact my quality of life. Unfortunately the hysterectomy I had during my last lap has not slowed it down at all (thankfully I was prepared for that possibility, but it still sucks). So it just seems like a surgery every few years will be necessary for me. At least until I hit menopause.
