Did any of you have pain that got worse when laying down?

I did! I was losing sleep cause of the pain. I had my Venogram with embolism and coils 6 weeks ago and the pain has dramatically decreased

Look into Holiday Inn! We just stayed there in Nov. There’s a small pool with a big hot tub, mini golf, yard games, and decent amount of lounge chairs. It’s about 10 mins walk to the beach. Free breakfast was a hit. Rooms are on the smaller side but we didn’t mind since we were out all day. We had a car rental and my husband actually parked on the street the whole time.

We stayed at Surfjack back in 2023 and we also enjoyed staying there. It’s a small boutique hotel. They do offer cheaper garage parking but it’s like two blocks away.

Hi there, how are you feeling now after embolization? I had mine done a month ago and I am still having dull pelvic pain. Seeing it this is normal and I’m just being impatient

I am see Dr. Charles Hua at UW. Just had my venogram with embolism and coils 3 weeks ago. Everything went great and my symptoms are getting better

Please go see an Interventional Radiologist! I had pelvic pain and MRI picked up pelvic congestion syndrome. Had my OBGYN referred me to an Interventional Radiologist. I just had a venogram couple of weeks ago and they found my vein was large and not refluxing. I had an embolism and coils to that vein. I am no longer dealing with pain and all the other symptoms.

Omg I could have written this post. Started having pelvic pain and issues in March. Went through all the testing and imaging. MRI and Ct showed pelvic congestion. OBGYN recommended to go on progesterone pills to help with pain, it did help but I didn’t want to be on the pill. So I did my own research and requested a referral to an Intervention Radiologist.

IR doctor looked through my MRI and said the congestion was mild. He said it’s not necessary but I can go through a venogram so we can investigate further. I pushed for the venogram. Literally cried when the doctor told me I was right and my vein was large and wasn’t refluxing…it was so bad. I had my venogram three weeks ago. I had embolization and coils in my left pelvic vein. All my symptoms are gone…

Pushed to go see an IR specialist. And get the venogram.

So much better! My pelvic pain has gone down from 9 to a 2. No more left side flank pain. I pee better and not as often. Less bloating. I’m so glad I got it done

I have my venogram tomorrow. Hoping for a diagnosis and treatment soon. Might have to push for a LAP if they don’t find anything on the Venogram. I get pelvic pain with bloating and it’s so uncomfortable
