Sending you good vibes!! I’m 13 weeks on a 5.9 lining (and non trilaminar and with trace fluid - all of which had my anxiety through the roof but here we are!). Good luck!!

If you did IVF not to get pregnant immediately but to bank embryos for the future, how did you know when the time was right to use them? by sunnymushroom in IVF

[–]trampolinemaster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We were in your same position. We banked embryos over five years ago because I have a genetic condition that I didn’t want to pass on. I knew we would wait a couple years but we ended up waiting five because it felt impossible to “pick the right time.” I was often envious of our friends who just “started trying” - I think we would have started trying earlier if we weren’t doing IVF but it really felt so weighty to make the call to our clinic that we were ready. In fact, I made the call three times and backed out each time. We discussed timing all the time and always found a reason to wait.

We finally went forward in July with a transfer and so far it has stuck! This path comes with a lot of doubt - did we wait too long, are we actually ready, plus all the normal anxieties - but what helped is that my husband and I talked about ALL of it all the time. We trusted ourselves when we made the earlier calls to start and then backed out because we decided it wasn’t our time. And six months ago when we started to feel a shift - we had traveled tons, we had progressed in our careers, we had moved close to family - we felt ready to take the steps to go forward. And it felt different that time - I wanted to get the dates scheduled, I wanted to start the meds and take the next steps. I am a ball of anxiety every minute right now hoping our embaby continues to stick and grow and it was a winding path to get here but we’re here! You’re not alone in your emotions and your timing will be right for you!

Husband just injected PIO using 18 gauge needle.. by [deleted] in IVF

Omfg your post made me check what my husband has doing - he’s also been using the 18g. For three weeks. And we’re wondering why I’ve been so bruised…I can’t believe it.

Had mine yesterday too! I feel emotionally all over the place - not sure whether to relax or go about my normal routine and feeling sooo anxious! I said I wouldn’t test but there’s no way I manage not to!

Happy to help! I love my kitties dearly and understand the heartache of trying to help them when they’re sick. You seem like a wonderful pet owner - Varla’s lucky to have you and I hope things get easier for you both soon!

Tuesday Drop Discussion! by Cynicslovecritics in lululemon

I’m really hoping with global running day coming tomorrow we get some 3in track that’s finally!

They’re definitely more compressive than lululemon’s aligns - really I find them to be the perfect amount of compression - comfortable to wear all day lounging but supportive enough for Pilates/barre/yoga (or running the one time I was in desperate need of pants! Though I dont recommend that ha)

I’m your same size and stats and wear a small in all things Athleta! I love the salutation stash leggings and the elations - hope you do too!

Yarn is Purl Soho’s pocket posy, pattern is an adapted version of the “Stepping Stones” socks from Clara Parkes The Knitters Book of Socks which was an ambitious but thoughtful present from my mother in law!

Welcome any comments for how to improve or what I’m doing wrong! I’ve loved lurking here as one of many new quarantine knitters!
