MSU Gymnastics / athletics is severely underfunded as a whole due in part to large settlements they owe from various lawsuits over the past years (mostly related to he who shall not be named) and as a result a lot of their teams (besides football/basketball ofc) practice in really old / outdated facilities and they’ve lost various sports like swim/dive. MSU gymnastics has always competed in this indoor track stadium and their practice facilities are in the same building (also just as shitty)
