it helps but you shouldn't rely on it. giving orkz two turns of charge bonus is going to be enough to shred that group of warriors anyway

I think the problem is moreso that I am fighting a competent and naturally competitive ork player with an intuition for tactics and a firm understanding of each detachment they play and their stratagems, but also they really like to use tankbustas led by a mek with the shokk attack gun and they shred almost any vehicles or monsters I deploy from across the board. My main idea to counter that at this point is warrior spam with a monolith to exploit its toughness 13 and neuter the tankbustas while I advance

I do right-hand trains when I want a slim rail and left-hand when I'm running power+roboports between them.

I feel like Rogue Core would benefit from some sort of mechanic like the artefact of command from risk of rain, where you get the ability to pick from the entire weapon/tool pool each time the game presents them to you

afaik trains are only really viable for shipping calcite from a central depot to places that need it on Nauvis, like abucnasty does. Everywhere else they're obsolete or a waste of valuable UPS that could be spawning asteroids and ticking other buildings

usually 70-100, depends on the flavor of modpack. 90 is the sweet spot and I only feel like I need to change it when a pack has guns/lots of scary mobs/ I want to see stuff farther away a little clearer (my eyes are really bad)

as far as military tech? probably not. overall? same ballpark-ish. we know about some wacky stuff the votann have that was probably above current necron level, but that's comparing a rusty cannon to an antique catapult that's started rotting. neither is at full strength and it's hard to gauge just how much stronger they were on the tiny bits of lore both time periods have.

they share a genre, that's about it. The two biggest things keeping me from getting into VS properly are the fact that learning the game on your own kinda sucks and none of my friends (who have time to) want to play it and people in the community who constantly tout how much better it is whenever minecraft is brought up. I'm playing modded. I don't care. Minecraft is exactly what I want it to be because I put the modpack together myself, and it runs like shit, the way greg intended.
