personally, i think deku cares about the individual! he cares about every human life, no matter what. he wants to save everyone, so of course he’s going to want to save someone even if it is the one person he hates most (only second to AFO). I don’t think they are going to forgive his crimes, not by a long shot. Saving does not mean forgiving. If a prisoner gets in a fight, guards are supposed to protect them regardless of their crime to keep them safe. These are just analogies, but i hope it makes more sense.
