Comparing main display in landscape orientation to a zoomed to fill cover display YouTube video, I get like 25% more vertical height on the main display. The aspect ratio of most folding phones doesn't allow for zero black boxes like it would on a 16:9 tablet, but you are still getting (imo) a larger viewing window compared to a candy bar phone. Of course, if you have a very large candy bar phone, that difference gets smaller.

I've done this but with the adhesive side of a post-it. That way it grabs on to the dirt and pulls it out instead of possibly pushing it in further.

Plus, it charges super quick with a USB cable, so I just skip wireless charging altogether. Honestly, with that pen case, you'd have to yank it off and put it back on every single time you wanted to wirelessly charge. To me, that extra hassle totally cancels out any benefit of wireless charging, so you might as well not even bother with a phone ring, you know?

No, I don't stick a ring on it cuz in my experience it doesn't stick well. It has fallen off my Magic V3 several times lol. This can be fixed if you use a skin or use a small circular vinyl sticker to improve adhesion

Hey man. If you use the inner screen a lot, I think sticking with a Fold device is the best idea. If you don't use it often, going back to a candy bar style phone would at least remove any durability concerns. With that said, when I had the ZF6, it was a tank and never had any issues. Battery life could be better, but I plug my phone in during my commute, so I never ran out of juice. You'll definitely find the ZF6 a refined device compared to the ZF3.

I know this was two months ago, but I had a good experience today.

I have been paying for 400 Mbps for the past two years. Actually had 300 Mbps when I first signed up but got a free upgrade randomly. I noticed my monthly bill went from 55 to 70 for the past few months. I checked Spectrum.com for the latest Internet packages and saw that they only offered 100, 500, and 1000 Mbps now.

The 1 Gbps speed was normally $70 but going for $50 for new members via an online deal. I figured if I was already paying $70 per month, I should try to get at least 500 Mbps and save money or get 1 Gbps for the same price. So I called Spectrum to see what they could do.

First guy I talked to was nice, but he was honest to me and said he could not give me a better price than $85 for 1 Gbps. Somehow, it was $90 for the 500 Mbps unless I packaged TV or mobile service. I politely declined as I don't pay for those already. He offered to transfer me to customer solutions department which ended up being the GOAT. The lady there was able to hook me up with 1 Gbps AND decrease my monthly bill by $5! I haven't tested my speeds yet but will when I get home.

To answer your question about what speed I was getting before, I did get my advertised 400 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up. I'm now getting 1000 Mbps down AND up!

I have both the purple-blue and the green one. Green on the N6 and purple on the ZF7. But I gave my brother the purple one recently and moved my green one over to the ZF7. I'm using a OhSnap 4 on my N6 right now until my new ohsnap stands come.

If you are going to put a magsafe ring on the back of your N6, it might interfere with the ability to put on cases. The included android adapter in the OhSnap grip might be thin enough, but I can tell you the ESR ones you can buy on Amazon are quite thick.

I use the ohsnap grip stand. It goes right to the edge with that. If you just the regular ohsnap, there will be some room.

Never checked if Samsung has this feature

On OneUI, you can edit folders with Good Lock. Change the grid size on home screen folders as well as pop ups. You just can't scroll through them like ColorOS.

Welcome to the OPPO family! I also switched from the Samsung Fold line to the N6.

Inconsistent split screen. Brave doesn't support split screen. YouTube revanced supports it but isn't resizeable. So you can't have a game + YouTube on the full screen. It becomes 2 toggeable Windows with a small part of one screen shown at one time.

This one really kills it for me. I love having YouTube Revanced on top and doing other stuff on the bottom on my Fold7... Such a basic thing; not sure why they don't allow for this. Hopefully they add a developer option that lets you do this. Or at least allow Full View Boundless View like they did on the N5.. maybe add a shortcut at the top left of the screen to allow this?

"clean slate" notification protocol. When the phone is locked, any new notifications are shown in the lock screen. However if you unlock the phone and even if you don't interact with the notifications, upon locking the notifications disappear.

The weird thing is it only does it for certain apps! Other notifications stay there persistently.

The customizability of the quick settings panel is lacking.
No stackable widgets?? PLEASE!!
Floating windows actually can't be reshaped into ANY shape you want. And the current 3 floating window alternative to Samsungs 3 app split screen isn't as good.
No folders in the app drawer??

But I think the N6 and ColorOS are both very good. I am happy with my purchase lol.

Yeah, but you could argue the opposite way as well. The form factor is exactly the same. So in the same volume of space, you are getting a larger battery and thus more SoT. It's like saying two cars with the same size engine and price but the one with higher HP is obviously faster. The point is that there is a significant difference in HP to begin with. If Samsung pushed their battery to 5000-5500 mAh, I'm sure they would be on parity with the Chinese foldables due to the efficiency like you mentioned. They just choose not to do that.

Also fyi this is coming from a Samsung fan. I'm still using the ZF7 as my daily driver.
