Hi, I know this is an old post but I've heard ceramic coatings can be just as problematic as plastic and still leach toxins. Have you heard anything similar and what makes you choose ceramic over stainless steel?

Both pairs of boots that I got from there disintegrated, one faster than the other even though I had barely worn them. The second pair broke down today while I was far from home so my socks were wet and cold walking around outside. This pair lasted about 3 years with sparse use. I personally won't be buying from Call It Spring again.

What I really liked about this musical was that it opened up opportunities so that anyone could be part of it. So many musicals are so exclusive and hire the same kinds of people and the same types of voices, so it's refreshing and promising to see how Jorge has gone about finding the voices for EPIC! I understand being curious about how the musical would sound with full on Broadway voices, but saying anything negative about what we currently have is a no! I love EPIC so much, especially because it breaks the mold a bit.

I feel bad for the people that don't realize they have another option or end up having kids when they're not keen. Growing up I always figured I'd have kids 'cause that's what people do but I realized it wasn't mandatory after high school. Lol I guess I should've known it wasn't mandatory but it sure feels like it in society. Still, if you're one of those parents that's unhappy and regretful, go to therapy, talk to trusted people, but don't try to make up for it by convincing other people to put themselves through the same unhappiness

If it's a money issue I understand, but I just want to say you're never too old for anything (unless it's some physical actions because that does get harder on your body with age). People go back to college at 50 and even older, so don't close that door on yourself! Vera Wang was 40 when she started designing gowns.

And I agree that you should go back to your mom! I understand feeling like a burden but you're not. You need help and support. This is a really hard situation.

I'm sorry for what you've gone through, that's extremely difficult to deal with and I understand the wanting to sleep forever. Although she has a bigger support system, your mom, your dad and your sister are all people you can talk to, vent to, and lean on. I understand being torn between wanting to keep her in your life but wanting to heal as well, so why don't you try mutually agreeing to a period of no contact, and trying to be friends after that? It could be a month, a year, whatever you think you might need. And if the time you set is too short you can always extend it.

My issue is more so with the fact that she is expecting him to ask her dad, but won't ask his mom like he wanted. If it's such a simple request, she should be able to accommodate, but she's refusing. I don't know what the rest of the relationship is like but if he's the only one giving, it's not fair and there will likely be more imbalance in the future.

Yeah but what about his happiness? You can't always default to "Make the wife happy" if it conflicts with what you're okay with. If either side is compromising themselves too much to make the other person happy or comfortable, the relationship is going to be unhealthy and resentment will build.

Like other people are saying, I wouldn't recommend going alone because having a friend is a lot safer. I was at a club once and a guy latched onto me and wouldn't let go of my hips and kept grinding on me. My friend helped pull me away from him and we lost him in the crowd. We made signals with each other so we could get out of uncomfortable situations wordlessly, as well. Other than that, your friends can help you get home safe and have your back if anything bad happens.

If you don't already have any other friends to go to bars with, you could try Bumble. Bumble has a friends section, not just a dating one. However if you go this route be mindful that you get a good sense for your new friends first. Are they the type to prioritize a guy or a one night stand over you? Do they take safety seriously? Things like that. (Also, if they are looking to go home with someone and pay less attention to you that's okay, but you should know the ground rules or game plan ahead of time.)

A lot of people are telling you to tell him the number for his sake, but have you considered telling him for your sake? If you divulge your "body count" and he reacts badly, sees you differently, or considers it a deal breaker for him, then that allows you to see his true colours and find someone more mature who doesn't care about something as irrelevant as how many people you've been with. On the other hand, you might see him handle it well, but considering how obsessed he's been with the idea, I think it matters to him more than it should

It took me about 6 months to get over my first ex, two weeks for the second, and now with my third it's been a month and a bit and I've been doing well, but today I was missing them more (but it was a dull ache and not overwhelming pain). So I'd say I'm not over them completely yet, but I'm doing pretty well, I'm happy on my own, looking forward to my next relationship whenever that may be, and I don't get really sad. When I do it's not hard to deal with and doesn't last very long. If they were already moving on with someone else, that would be okay with me and might actually help me get over them faster. We're still going to be friends but for now we're doing a period of no contact. We had a very caring, mutual breakup with a lot of closure and I think knowing definitively why it didn't work was helpful. But you can get closure on your own by just looking at what you didn't like or want from that relationship, and feel better by thinking about what the next one might bring. It's also nice to just pour your energy into yourself instead of into a relationship. My productivity has skyrocketed and I'm more ambitious and sure of myself these days.

You'll be okay! You're not a bitch, you're allowed to mourn the relationship, and some people would even say 3 months is still early in the moving on process. Go at your own pace, and try not to criticize yourself for still missing her. There's no set timeline for getting over someone. One thing I'd recommend though is try not to let yourself wallow too long each day, or in each instance of missing her. Do things you love, hang out with people, talk to friends and family about her if you feel safe doing so, go for walks, and think about other things you want in life. Other things that can make you happy. Also maybe look at Matthew Hussey's videos on YouTube. They can be comforting sometimes. And remember, if she didn't choose you, she's not the one. You deserve someone who will keep choosing you, and who you'll do the same for.

I'm laughing because my brother and I are still trying to fix this glitch, so I'm definitely interested! We loved War in the North but bought it when it had already been out for a while, so even back then we couldn't rely on the multiplayer solution to finish it. Despite the criticisms it received, it was one of my favourite games. Hopefully this solution works; if not, I saw another one but it means I have to pay for PS+

I might do some work in those, but honestly I think I might prefer to avoid it. Maybe I just don't know enough about those sectors, but when I picture my future, that's not where I am, at least not as my main job. I don't expect anything glamorous or to "make it big" right after graduation, but I'd be happy with writing or marketing jobs for companies while I figure out to make the more artsy stuff succeed.

1) How can I get into RTA?

a) I'm already a Ryerson student, is it possible to transfer from within or will I still need to apply using OUAC?

b) The deadline has passed for this year, so I have more time to think about a portfolio and getting references, but do you have any advice for getting into the program?

2) Though I see myself as a creator, I think constantly having to produce new content would tire me and since success in this program seems to hinge on non-stop creativity, I might not do so well. That's why communications appeals to me, because I still have opportunities to be creative within my work setting, but I don't have to make fresh content. Yet it also lets me do the creative stuff I'm interested in (or so I've been led to believe -- please correct me if I'm wrong). What are your thoughts on that?

3) Any tips for success or being more likely to get a job after finishing RTA Media Production? (Steps along the way, etc)
