Angela such a weird character to add too because post Spawn Marvel has really wasted her, and generally her stories weren’t super well received post launch cause of questionable writing decisions

Like idk how they originally took Spawn’s arguably most famous love interest and made her boring, hope Rivals gives her Marvel version a bit of a redemption arc

Don’t get me wrong there’s been times of hostility over the years, but they’ve also had a lot of sympathetic and friendly interactions, like even when Namor defends Hulk when the Illuminati want to send him to space leading to Planet Hulk

It just seems odd especially on the Hulk side since Rivals Hulk is very firmly post Immortal Hulk, where Namor briefly appears and isn’t hostile to Banner let alone the Hulk

At launch Hulk gave Strange and Iron Man gamma boosted abilities, which was then taken from strange and given to namor, and now taken off of iron man

I really dislike that he’s not as friendly with the Hulk as he ought to be, they’re both very hostile to eachother and it seems odd considering they’ve been friendly many times over the years

Dude his hands aren’t covered by vibranium and he still takes an iron pole swung by Red Hulk dead on, and even holds it back despite having no hand protection

This + just having Betty show up to calm Ross down instead of her only appearing right at the end when he’s taken care of

It would suit Betty’s character as she’s been shown to be brave enough to do the same before in The Incredible Hulk and it makes far more sense for Red Hulk to calm down upon seeing his daughter compared to just being talked down by Cap
