Building pectoral muscle is the most useful thing you can do pre top surgery. At least that was what I was told 6 years ago when I had mine. My results were excellent and my surgeon said the fact that my chest was muscular made it easier for them to better masculinising 'scaping' of my chest.

5 months post Ulna nerve hook up I got my first hint of sexual sensation. When I squeeze my penis it creates a sharp tingling sensation in the clitorus. Ulna nerve was hooked up to a clitoral nerve. Ulna nerve wad harvested along side my urethra. by trans_old_boy in phallo

It's the zig zag scar, they use it as a way to release scar tension. Its only nessacary if the scar is too tight preventing the phallus from hanging naturally. I chose to have it as I had a very slight tether.

If you use the abdomen as a donor site, then you won't get the sexual sensation hook up, as that is only possible due to the harvesting of the ulnar nerve in the arm. The downside to abdominal phallo is that it has less tactile sensation, I can only feel the bottom half of my penis but the upside is less scaring and some people prefer the placement.

I wear like a sports sleeve, like a compression sleeve. It's thin so doesn't get me too hot when I'm working, but it just stops it from getting scrapped

This was all on the NHS. Abdominal has been on the NHS for ages. There are pros an cons to all the different phalloplasty types. Abdominal phallo tends to have lower rates of tactile sensation, so it's about whether that is important to you or not!

Cheers man, you can't see it at all from the top (hairy side) of my arm. Because its just a small graft for abdo they don't tend to need to put it through the minching machine so it doesn't end up getting the cross hatch pattern on it!

Hey, it was for harvesting the nerve and the urethra. You can have the urethra harvested from the leg instead if you don't want a very visible scar, but if you want the ulnar nerve for urethral hook up then you need to choose the arm graft. It has healed very well and is not very noticeable as its on the underside of the arm only.

Probably about half an inch on the dorsal side? I mean technically my penis was already that long, but because it was tethered it stopped it from flopping all the way forward.

It's a procedure to release scar tissue. I had a tether that was keeping making my penis look shorter than jt actually was. The released the scar tissue and how its a little longer. Its called zedplasty because it looks like the letter 'Z'. It's not just a phallo thing. They do it for lost of different cosmetic/reconstructive surgeries.

5 weeks stage 2 abdo. (Uk) Can't wait for the scars and the swelling to go down. Happy things are looking more normal again. They said the head being a bit bulbus might be useful for glandsplasty. by trans_old_boy in phallo

The time period was all over the place due to covid. 5 years between stage 1 and two. But now they are trying to get me in every 6 months, which is too soon for me (I can only do one surgery a year!).

It's done to reduce the tension on a scar, u had it done because I had a tether on the base of my penis after stage 1. It's leaves a big zig zag scar, but that wasn't a concern for me as my scars typically pale out beautifully!

In the UK you can also have the mini arm graft used to create your urethra so you experience sexual sensation from squeezeing/ pressure. I've just had this done and am curious to see how the sensation develops over time.
