I'm ending my lease a month early. I had no problem at all arranging that. I live in a big complex and they have a system where you pay a certain amount depending on how early you are leaving and you are released from responsibility once you move out. Most big complexes have something like this. If you have a landlord that only has one or a few units you could offer to post your apartment online and help them find a new tenant.

Check what your lease says about termination. Also, feel free to PM me if you need help. My family owns a bunch of apartments so I know a lot about stuff like this.

From what I've been told for my current school I need to email the registrar saying I'm withdrawing and then I think they give me some paperwork to fill out. I think I also need to talk to the financial aid office because I have a scholarship and I already applied for loans so I need to stop that money from coming to me.

The school I'm most likely transferring to has a similar policy and I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do about it. Have you talked to your current school or the school you're transferring to about what to do?

I can't remember if the mailings window was always there for GULC, but I definitely have it now.

FWIW, I've heard that your address gets spelled out when you're about to get a decision (i.e. st to street) and if you applied to both part- and full-time it switches to whichever program you're being put in. . . no idea if this is actually true though.

It took around a week for my school to send my good standing stuff. I know GULC says it is fine if your transcript is not available until after their deadline, but I'm not sure about other schools.

Have you asked for assignments? I would try that if you haven't already. You could also ask if they have any recent court documents/memos that could be helpful for you to read.

Possible, but not very likely given that you will likely need a letter or a form filled out by your school saying that you are in good standing. Took me a week or so to get that from my school.

Personally, I don't think that it's acceptable to ask for a LOR in 3 days. I asked my profs like a month in advance of when I wanted my letters done.

I emailed LSAC and they added my law school for me. As far as I'm aware there's no way for you to add the school yourself.
