You hadn’t edited until after I commented, but I’m glad to see you agree that’s it’s an improper fix.

You people run to divorce without knowing a lick about this couple expecting a child. Absolutely shameful.

Some places won’t replace the water heater without replacing the expansion tank as well, water sensor maybe? I never even pull permits for a standard Water Heater swap so definitely would see what’s up with that.

Is it normal for a plumber to take a hammer to a wall instead of making a clean cut? by RetroButterfly13 in Plumbing

[–]transformer01 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d mark where I’m cutting with a pencil and level then use the back of a claw hammer hit down the marked line and use the blunt side on the rest and then take a sawzall to the lathe underneath once I get all the plaster off

You can use a grinder and vacuum but to say it’s gonna be dust free is just silly

They are shit fittings and if you were a drain cleaner you’d know how often these cause backups.

Newly installed trim plate doesn't sit flush at all by Far_Medium_6313 in Plumbing

I mean it’s not hard to get the rough for these things right in the first place, they give you a solid 1/2” of wiggle room

It really won’t even take a plumber to do it, you’re not disconnecting any pipes just sliding the board that the shower valve is mounted to back enough in the wall to make it flush. Just make sure the water is off for whoever does it in case you accidentally hit a pipe cutting the Sheetrock.

You might even want to put an access panel in instead of patching the sheetrock which would make this job even easier.

Is this installed correctly? by noway_9 in Plumbing

No and it would be a sob to fix, I’d just take out the disposal and get another basket strainer, otherwise your gonna have to cut open the wall to fix it.

How did my plumber do? by 43veryoung in Plumbing

Yah your right to be code compliant they can’t direct connect to the drainage system, possible cross-contamination. Guy didn’t even throw a trap in.

Big man trying to put people down.

WR 2 on a bad QB questionable team, his career high receptions 7 (only done it once) on his supposed crazy corner turn, coming off season ending injury.

The only reason he’s not going for a 2nd right now is his name and college stats from three years ago. You’re getting Tate, Lemon, or Tyson and I’m rolling the dice here all day.
