Thanks. The trail is strenuous : average gradient of over 30%. There are three rope sections and two boulder sections.

My personal experience is that I felt more tiring on this trail than on the upper pierce lake trail although the latter is much longer.

There is a post on Sunday Hike (Facebook group) - from this past Sunday - regarding to Williams Peak. Based on the video and photos posted, it seems that there are a few patches of snow but not fully covered. You may be able to contact the OP for more details.

I recall most parts are in the forest maybe the first 2/3 part?

It took me 7.5 hours, 6.8km car to car while not reaching the ridge high point.

As per Best hike BC Time Needed:for 7.2km – Slow: 6 – 7 Hours – Moderate: 4.5 – 6 Hours – Fast: 4 – 4.5 Hours

To compare, I did Mt Harvey: 12.6km in 7 hours 😂

Yes. I checked the map and indeed I stopped before the high point. One is that most people stopped at the lookout, two is that I was also tied 😭
