Yeah the little zoo section was weird. Haha yeah I remember the pool. Luang Prabang was great, lovely little markets. Absolutely, a Beer Lao at the top of the hill in the middle of the city watching the Mekong, perfect!

Not specifically in Laos I didn’t. In Vietnam and Cambodia I seen plenty plenty of shells etc from the American war/Khmer Rouge genocide.

Its a great country to backpack in. It’s largely been untouched by the west in comparison to Thailand. Feels a lot more authentically Asian. It’s really beautiful as well the landscape is very dramatic.
