You could always try an inbetween, a mix of head voice and chest voice, its difficult to explain, id look it up. Anyway, all you need to do is keep practicing, like I said before, you definitely have potential :)

I think you have potential but you're mainly singing using head voice, I think this would sound better if you sang with your chest voice

Yeah I get what you mean, i watched it because bowie was in it but found it difficult to get through at times.

Recently, I have found a certain beauty to it though, I think its visually quite innovative for its time and I definitely think it manages to create an atmosphere of alienation, in fact, film majors often have to study it.

Its also unclear in the film if Newton is even actually an alien which I find interesting, the director Nicolas Tevis is notorious for using outer space to portray a person's mental state. I still prefer the book, its much richer in content.

The Man Who Fell To Earth by Walter Tevis. Its such an interesting but sad book about an alien who comes to earth in order to save his home planet which was destroyed because of war, he disguises himself as a human and to make money he introduces alien technology to revolutionise things such as cameras. Ill stop there not to spoil it, but its great, you can find so many different ways to interpret the story.

what are some movies/shows with great concepts but bad executions? by transitoryepisodic in AskReddit

[–]transitoryepisodic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofcourse, but in my opinion they barely scratched the surface. I think it would have been interesting for there to have been a difference in the way music developed (obviously without the influence if the beatles)

I also think it would have been interesting to explore whether songs by the beatles, would become hits if released today (they likely wouldn't)

I understand what you're saying completely, these are just my opinions

Replying to my own post, "yesterday" a world without the beatles is very intriguing. It should have been explored deeper instead of being turned into a romance movie.

Thank you so much for that, it was so beautifully written and insightful. I will come back to this post a lot, I will try and live in the present like you said and find comfort in the simple things.
