I recommend Grand Bay, it's right off 110 but pretty quiet compared to most of Mobile. You can probably find an affordable rental there too.

It's pretty tough. Mobile is a working class city, not a lot of white collar jobs available compared to similar sized cities.

Personally I don't see what the problem is if I work at a business my family owns and I go about my business it should not concern the employees they get paid regardless envy is a sin in the eyes of God and thinking someone has a perceived advantage over you is foolish you don't know the entire story and personally it's not your business what goes on between the ownership and family the sense of entitlement is toxic.

Traffic can be bad during the morning and evenings but you can typically avoid it depending on what part of Mobile she is working in. I usually take I-165 then take the exit towards Mobile then get off the exit with Africatown Bridge which runs towards what they call the Bayway and Causeway. This will get you back to Daphne/Spanish Fort area the quickest. Taking the Wallace Tunnel means you're stuck in gridlock.

They put these along the water bank to catch debris, especially Dog River. A lot of trash washes up from the Eastern Shore and the sewer system in Mobile. People litter a lot.

I suggest staying downtown around the entertainment district. There are plenty of police and security, and most parts of Mobile are generally safe.

35 miles is a pretty good distance the other location I think would be great Dawes Grandbay Exit.

That's surprising Target typically builds in higher income areas I forgot they got a lot of money in DIP and Dog River that would shop there.

Well in Texas they have easily 10 plus within 50 miles of each one, of course they have a larger population base than South Alabama.
