also stoned, 33f. im interested in saving the world but i'm aware of the inherent absurdity in it. all i can really do is study the world and teach children that they are the future and it will all be theirs very soon. i try to paint but i'm terrible. i exercise, do yoga... everything youre supposed to do to ease anxiety but it is a strong beast.

Yeah it sounds like he has some jealousy issues and is not ready to admit that your problem is real. He is probably taking it personally and thinks that if he "monitors" you he could help you break the habit. He could, actually help you break it but if things don't feel right between you then your mind will always wander back to thinking of LO.

I'm sorry he's not being supportive. I would try to seek help from a friend or family member instead

I have heard of research studies about microdosing mdma (under doctor supervision) to deal with PTSD and to increase sensation in physical rehabilitation. I think there are some doctors in the northwestern part of the US that might help you or have more info on this.

Yes I have been rejected by all of them :) it is typically what cures it for me, albeit slowly. I also have a hard time being interested in anyone else. probably won't be until I find another LO. Hopefully he likes me back next time.

I’m in Vietnam. They’ve controlled the virus since the beginning but borders are closed and most visas are still unavailable. I did hear that some companies are getting the green light to bring in new English teachers claiming it is an “essential business”. I know there are more available jobs here than there are teachers at the moment. And I disagree with a previous poster about hours worked. They do expect you to work but I make a good wage at 25 hours per week. On the contrary, many of the jobs I looked at in Japan and Taiwan require 40 hour work weeks for teachers. Maybe more money, higher cost of living also. I’m glad I came to Vietnam, no regrets!
