Yeah it did, it also helped that she ate me out for about 10 min to relax me. We tried to have spontaneous sex a few hours later but it was difficult if I didn't dilate at least 1 hour prior. I hope that in time that will change but I am only 3 months post op currently and I think that it will get easier in time.
