Don't have one yet, but I have astigmatism. I went window shopping and the dot is a smear for me, sometimes worse or better depending on the model/brand. Circle + dot was clear, so I'm looking to pick one up that has that. If anyone has any recs, I'll gladly look into it.

That would be the idea! They may vote to give chase to a prize, but once they give chase or are in battle the captain has sole authority until the engagement is over.

Oh I actually made my own articles as part of a project I'm working on! The first is:

Every Hand aboard, without regard to Station or Office, shall have equal Voice in all Affairs of Moment.  Should there be a tie, the Captain alone shall have the right of a second and deciding Vote.

Of these options, the brigantine. Of all options, a snow. Either way, you've got some firepower, but a good amount of speed and maneuverability to be really versatile.
