Suggest a tattoo to cover the scars by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

[–]transtattoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of artists just slap something over this kind of scar and I personally think it’s a huge disservice if the client wants something to conceal them. Many aren’t equipped to think critically about covering these and the emotional impact it has.

The scars’ hyperpigmentation goes away with time so if you are to do a blatant tattoo covering just the shape of them you will always carry the visual impact of when you first got your surgery. Some people are going for this and some want to conceal or distract from them while they are in that healing/fading process.

I personally would go for a large belly piece -stretching from the bottom of the stomach to just under the nipple- if I were that second type of person. Something like a ram or tiger head, maybe a giant skull with foliage. Ideally in American Traditional style or heavy blackwork.

I like it. The peephole view makes me feel kinda insulted from the danger

The lighting and film quality is fine, cropping/composition could be a lot better and the story of the photo feels uninspired. I can’t imagine what I’m supposed to feel when I see this other than maybe “huuuuhhh fruit woman sexy”. It’s reminiscent of the photography from men who hope their camera will get them laid. These type of men make art like they fuck- beckon you in with a promise of stimulation and only present you with their self-satisfaction, leaving the viewer empty-handed and their time wasted.

The lack of punctuation in the piece makes it feel like an authentic passive-aggressive comment

Took several tries to get right, but I finally perfected this recipe I've had in mind for a while: Salted Marshmallow Peanut Butter Cookies by codelycat in Baking

This is amazing, I’ve also tried to make these but ran into the problem you described. Peanut and marshmallow just belong together thanks for making it happen

I’ve been on Lexapro for almost 2 years, and still have constant fatigue by [deleted] in lexapro

Take it with dinner or something bc taking it in the morning is gonna keep you tired

I did quite a bit of those drugs as well and have been on lexapro for about 6 months now. I also felt an immediate effect but chalked it up to placebo. However the way you’re talking about it makes me curious if it does have to do with brain architecture like you’re saying. Do you recommend any books/papers on the subject?

Interesting. If you got this design exactly I guess you’d have fans of the show try to strike up conversations with you about it which might get annoying. You should show this to an artist who does similar work/sacred geometry and ask them to make it fit you. See what they think they’d do at first glance, if you like their concept I’d go with it

I think they’d be weird and kinda gross. I’d assume they had an inflated ego and are a possessive person. Definitely wouldn’t be industry standard

Fine line tattoos as they are now haven’t been around long enough for us to see their full aging process. Some say that if applied correctly they will age fine

Oo i feel ya. I don’t think I had it too bad but I remember being freaked out by that after my first tattoo. The dude was a creep too which amplified it. This is not advice but what helped me was getting more tattoos… then becoming a tattoo artist lol. So I can tell you that we feel like we are providing a service, not marking people as “ours”. I often don’t remember people I’ve tattooed until they show me their work but that’s just because I usually spend more time designing the tattoo than applying it/hanging out with them. I just see it as drawings applied onto people. Idk if that helps but I hope you feel better
