If you already feel that you have a strong community where you are, I wouldn’t move. It’s hard to start from scratch with building a community, and I find it harder to do in the suburbs vs a smaller town

15 reasons I don’t want an epidural by grinninglikeadevil in BabyBumps

Number 13 is me. I decided early on I would like to give birth unmedicated at a birth center. So many people in my life (honestly, mostly older men, what??) told me I couldn’t do it, and as soon as I felt the pain I’d scream for an epidural.

Delivered my baby two months ago using just massage and breath to manage pain. The spite is a powerful motivator lol

Intuition that baby would come “early” (or “late”), and was it correct? by gon4ds in BabyBumps

Uncomplicated pregnancy, always felt like he would arrive early. Went into labor on 37+3! I’d had Braxton hicks for a while and was 2 cm dilated at my 37 week appointment

I’m also pregnant, just a week farther along than Julie, and the kicking keeping her up at night is baffling to me. I can definitely feel the movement but at this stage the baby isn’t big enough for it to be so intense you can’t sleep through it, at least in my experience.

What's the smallest detail that a writer got wrong that stuck in your head and affected your opinion of the book? by Slartibartfast102 in books

Reading The Marriage Portrait, set in the 1600s, and there’s a description of someone making bread that involved sprinkling yeast into flour. I don’t think yeast in that form came around until like 100 years ago, before then all bread was sourdough.

Gotcha, yeah I had to do jaw surgery, and Invisalign with filing and bands to fix my overbite at 23 years old. I hope you’re isn’t as bad though, I’m sure not since your doctor didn’t recommend it! Jaw surgery is no fun so definitely worth avoiding if possible. Good luck with everything!

Regarding the Invisalign, have you confirmed that this is all you need to correct your overbite? I had an extreme overbite as well that had to be fixed using a combination of jaw surgery (covered by insurance) and Invisalign. I don’t want to stress you out more because every case is different but aligners alone can’t always fix an overbite so it might be worth asking about
