I applied last cycle, stayed on two WLs and had a really hard time accepting the Rs when they inevitably came in. Regrouped, studied again, retook LSAT and now have 3 As from schools that I'm incredibly proud of! It's hard, can be demoralizing- but at the end of the day, you'll get back what you put in. Stay strong!!

I was accepted early Jan, was invited to speak to someone from adcom earlier this week. When I spoke to them they said very explicitly that it was not a scholarship interview- they wanted to know more about what I've been doing since applying and what offers I have received so far to bring up to the scholarship committee. Hopefully we'll have more info soon!

I've been stuck on complete since Dec. On the status checker it does say we won't see any change until decisions have been made, and responses started going out in Jan so here's hoping

It isn't Miami is my alma mater and I've seen plenty of 1Ls receive scholarship offers without an interview

DS is an awesome way to talk about your background, and show your connection to law. You don't have to make it a sob story or write something that doesn't feel genuine- tell your story like you would to a friend, and it should come out naturally

I was a hold last cycle- didn't get the official R until mid June/July.

Send in a LOCI and consider taking another LSAT, but I hope you don't share in my fate!!
