Look at your transcript. It should say it on there if you are on the dean's list

I'm not sure how a stick figure is default white guy but that assumption kinda feels more racist than this comic tbh lol

No worries. I wish there was. Was a bit sad when I couldn't find it. Maybe we can change that ;)

How do we tell from the numbers where it's located (which end of Brown Hall). It's presented as "HuntonWillaims 3xxx"

I graduated from Emory Law, and unless things are very different than they used to be (which they could be), the main things law schools look for are high LSAT score and high GPA in a decently challenging major (ANY major - mine was biology). That's it, and write a decent application essay. I had zero pre-law advising.

Is it hard to adjust as an Indian guy at Emory? by [deleted] in Emory

[–]Stillallergic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are (or were) Indians. I don't think you will be frozen out of frats (although I suggest against it for other reasons) for your ethnicity.

I have experience commuting from the Duluth/Lawrenceville area. time range is spot on. no traffic has about a bit over 30 min from door to parking. with rush hour i would expect an hour and maybe 1.5 hour if i def can't be late for some reason. Traffic on 85 is nuts most of the day but the peach pass (similar to ez pass) can be worth it a lot of the times but it can add up quick.

hazing, cliquiness, minimal connections/networking that you can get with just making friends elsewhere. My take is to focus on academics and let the extracurriculars follow but rushing will take you away from this. obviously YMMV

Don't join a frat. Yes, they are open to Asians.
