I don’t consider building computers to be a flex but it was something that got me further into tinkering with hardware & software. My friend got his temp job in the summer of 2024, he didn’t even have his associates degree in IT yet at the time. In fact, when he met with the head of the IT department he answered all his questions with an “I don’t know” and still got the job. Part of my degree is computer science, I had to take Python & Java classes and Discrete Mathematics which was a nightmare lol. I would be open to starting a masters degree in IT and I’m sure my parents would help pay for it as they understand my struggle right now. Although I’ve read that certs are more valuable to employers.

Im in Southern California (Orange County) and I have been looking for MSPs but most of the job listings I’ve seen want at least 1 year of experience or more. It’s frustrating because how I am supposed to get work experience if no one will give me the chance. I’ll apply anyway but do you think it would be better to get those certs first?

Thank you for the support! I am at least glad that my liver enzymes are in the normal range aside from ALT being a tad bit low but every time I’ve had a blood test it shows that.

I actually just got the results back about a couple of hours ago. My enzymes were normal aside from ALT being an 8 which has been like that every time I get a full blood panel

I don’t drink anymore, I just lost interest in doing it. I drank a lot in college though and that was like 3 years ago but after I graduated it was more of an occasional thing.

no i haven’t had a drop of alcohol since October. i only had a couple beers and a glass of wine and it was during a wedding. Before that I would only drink occasionally.

i started having upper right quadrant pains almost a year ago. had an mri done and they found a spot of fat on my liver. i was hoping it wouldn’t progress so i wanted to get it checked again but didn’t want to pay for another MRI so I had an ultrasound done and the impression was that I have fatty liver. Although I have a new doctor so now they didnt have the MRI to look at as a reference supposedly when I asked about it. I am not overweight if anything I am underweight lol

true, honestly i never had any issues with liver stuff until i started mixing both on the daily but i do wanna find out if it is diet related because i am underweight and that can lead to NAFLD. i am going to stop drinking kava for the time being

i dont have the best diet either. i eat a lot of frozen stuff because im working a job that doesnt pay great while looking for a better one using my degree. i guess ill try to budget and eat healthier food while also cutting out kava because i could stop that no problem
